I’m sorry for the long hiatus. It’s not that I’m not constantly thinking about The Urban Field Guide, I have a long list of bookmarks to share and a million new photos to post from my….. new neighborhood! Yes, I’ve finally made the trek Northward and live in the land of tall trees and pendleton coats, Portland, OR.
But this post isn’t about that, it’s about some amazing artwork I’ve seen recently through the site We Make Carpets, click here. I’m in love with the design and the process of artists Stijn van der Vleuten, Marcia Nolte and Bob Waardenburg. They don’t even go off of a sketch. No plan, no sketch, no permanence. Now if only I could see one in person.
